A Christmas Carol

This year’s main Christmas concert in Southend featured a blend of festive tunes and carols seamlessly woven into Charles Dickens' iconic novel. The choirs were joined by the Essex Yeomanry Band, adding an extra layer of richness to the performance.

Dickens’ main characters were read by choir members and the evening included audience participation in several community carols including the traditional 12 Days of Christmas.
